Veal Stew with Potatoes

Ingredients:
2 carrots (large)
2 onions (medium)
2 celery sticks
400 grams Veal (for stewing)
40ml red wine
3 potatoes (medium)
3 glasses of water
4 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
salt and pepper (to taste)
Method:
1. Wash, dry and clean the carrots.
2. Wash, dry and peel the onions.
3. Wash, dry and peel the celery sticks.
4. Chop the carrots.
5. Chop the onions.
6. Chop the celery sticks.
7. Put a large saucepan over a medium heat.
8. Add the olive oil.
9. Put the chopped carrots, onions, celery sticks into the saucepan.
10. Allow to lightly brown, stirring occasionally.
11. Add the stewing veal meat pieces.
12. Add salt and pepper to taste.
13. Allow the veal meat to brown, stirring occasionally.
14. Add the wine and wait until wine has evaporated.
15. Cook for about 8 minutes.
16. Wash, dry and peel the potatoes.
17. Cut the potatoes into medium-sized pieces.
18. Add the potato pieces to the stew.
19. Add 3 glasses of water.
20. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
21. Continue to cook for 20 minutes.
22. Add more water if it begins to dry out.
23. Spoon onto serving plates and serve immediately.
