Would you not eat a pizza because of it's origins? They are not the highly polished and intensely decorated type of Italian cuisine recipes that you will find in most modern Italian restaurants but the very basic home cooking that will guarantee a satisfied smile from everyone. Go ahead and try them, you will be glad that you did!

You may well be surprised to learn that "Polenta" and "Focaccia" (the most humble of Italian peasant cuisine) for example, have very successfully found their way onto the menus of the very best of Italian and non-Italian restaurants alike! So, please do not be a food snob just because it may have had humble origins. Just enjoy the flavours.
